Mist Covered Mountains... an old favorite 

I grew up with Mist Covered Mountains. I think it is one of the first tunes I taught myself our of the Scots Guard's Bagpipe Music Book when I was a young beginner bagpiper. I didn't learn it with my bagpipe tutor, but on my own, because I just loved the tune and simply could not wait for my next bagpipe lesson!

Mist Covered Mountains is a classic tune for special events, ceremonies, or funerals. A great tune to have in your piping repertoire! It's a slower tune as well, which can be helpful for beginner bagpipers when it comes to learning how to play Mist Covered Mountains.  

I had a lot of fun creating this bagpipe tutorial and revisiting one of my favorite bagpipe tunes.
